Robert Gillinger
Robert Gilinger (b. 1973) studied with Milan Turkovic in Vienna. 1994 – 2001 he was a member of the Bruckner Orchestra Linz, in 2001 he became a member of the Vienna Symphony Orchestra. He also teaches at the Vienna Music University. He plays in several chamber groups, e.g. triple tongue vienna (woodwind trio), Ensemble 1080, Elliott Carter Quintet, Wiener Kammermusiker, Bläserquintett der Wiener Symphoniker, Bläsersolisten der Wiener Symphoniker, Barockensemble der Wiener Symphoniker, Ensemble EIS, Ensemble Reconsil. As a guest he played in Klangforum Wien, Ensemble Modern Frankfurt, Wiener Virtuosen, ‚die reihe’ and in several viennese Chamber- , Symphony- and Opera Orchestras.
