Martin Griebl
Martin Griebl, born in 1987, had his first trumpet lessons at the age of seven. From 2001 to 2006 he studied with Prof. Josef Eidenberger at Anton Bruckner Privatuniversität in Linz, while going to school at Adalbert Stifter Gymnasium Linz. After that he had to do military service in the music corps.
From 2007 to 2011 he did his bachelor at Konservatorium Wien Privatuniversität with Johann Plank. Since 2011 he is doing his master studies at Kons Wien with Prof. Johann Plank and also at Universität Mozarteum Salzburg with Prof. Hans Gansch.
He regularily performs with orchestras (e.g. for substitution) like Volksoper Wien, RSO Wien, Bühnenorchester der Wiener Staatsoper, Concentus Musicus Wien, Ensemble Reconsil Wien, Klangforum Wien, European Union Youth Orchestra, Tonkünstlerorchester NÖ, Brucknerorchester Linz, etc.
He has been on concert tours to Switzerland, Italy, Hungary, Czech Republic, Germany, Poland, the Netherlands, Sweden, Great Britain, France, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Kazachstan and Japan.
Since 2011 he is also a member of the Vienna Brass Connection.
